Warwick driving test centre is at Ground Floor, Wedgnock House, Wedgnock Lane, Warwick, CV34 5AP, off the A425 Birmingham Road on the north-west edge of town. Use the postcode rather than the name in your sat nav, or you will be routed into Warwick town centre. Aim to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.

Ground Floor, Wedgnock House, Wedgnock Lane, Warwick, CV34 5AP. Wedgnock Lane runs off the A425 Birmingham Road on the north-west edge of Warwick, in an industrial area rather than the town centre, so do not aim for Warwick town when you set off.
The most common mistake is putting “Warwick driving test centre” into a sat nav and being routed into the town, then having to work back out through the A425 one-way sections at Northgate and The Butts. Use the postcode CV34 5AP, not the name.

All four approaches converge on the A425 Birmingham Road. The variable is how much of central Warwick you have to cross first.

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, park where you will not need to move again, and stay in the car until a few minutes before your slot. Long waits inside the centre do more harm than good.

Do not do a long practice drive immediately beforehand, and do not attempt a manoeuvre you have been struggling with in the car park ten minutes out. Both tend to end with you arriving rattled.

Wedgnock Lane itself is wide and quiet, which makes the first thirty seconds of a test deceptively easy. The demand starts at the emergence onto the A425 Birmingham Road, where you join a steady main road from a low-traffic industrial street.
Beyond that, the test area covers the A425 through Saltisford, Northgate, The Butts and North Rock, the A429 Coventry Road, the A445 Priory Road, and residential sections on Cape Road, Millers Road, Guy’s Cross Park Road, Primrose Hill and Lakin Road. Bay parking is normally done at the centre itself, so it is worth having practised bays of that size rather than generous supermarket ones.

Head west on the A445 or A425 through Warwick, then out on the A425 Birmingham Road towards Wedgnock Lane. Allow more than the map says at school-run times, because the A425 through Saltisford and Northgate backs up.
South on the A452 Warwick Road, then pick up the A425 through the town and out on Birmingham Road to Wedgnock Lane. Roughly 15 minutes without traffic.
